Alaska’s First Pinball Arcade & Living Museum

AKPINS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit pinball arcade and living museum located in the Mat-Su Valley, Alaska. We are launching a Founding Member campaign to open Alaska’s first dedicated pinball hall — a dry, all-ages venue rooted in preservation, competition, and community.
Living Museum
Every machine tells a story. Our rotating collection of 20+ restored cabinets comes with historical lore cards, restoration notes, and guided play sessions. We preserve pinball as a living, playable art form.
Dry Taproom
Craft sodas, sourdough pretzels, and locally sourced snacks — zero alcohol, all ages, all the time. A community gathering space that doesn’t require a drink in your hand.
IFPA Tournaments
World-ranked competitive play through the International Flipper Pinball Association. Weekly Gauntlet events, beginner brackets, and seasonal trophy competitions open to all skill levels.
Why Nonprofit? The Financial Architecture
A standard for-profit arcade model in Alaska carries extreme seasonal volatility. Our nonprofit structure unlocks grant pipelines unavailable to commercial venues and builds a stable membership floor.
